Police Say Gaines Man Was Walking Drunk

A Gaines man was charged with Drunk Walking by State Police at 4:10 AM on Sunday when he was encountered along the eastbound berm of Route 6 in Pike Township.

John James Bryington, 53, of 209 Lick Run Road in Gaines, PA, was observed by Trooper Wooster of the Coudersport barracks, walking on and off the roadway in an unsafe manner. Upon investigation Bryington was found to be intoxicated and was charged with Public Drunkenness.
