This is Miss Hope. She needs someone to nudge and snuggle. She's about 3 yrs old so this is about as big as she's going to get. She came up to my husband outside about 5 months ago. She was skin and bones with scratches and cuts from her ear to her tail on one side. She came up and nudged his leg, just purring away. After the first 24 hours of calming her, getting food in her a little at a time and getting her to sleep, we set her up in our guest room. She's been there ever since. She's healed well and filled out nicely. She's been a sweet girl but she deserves a family of her own. In a couple of weeks we'll get her fixed and get her shots. We'd keep her but we've already got 9 cats and 2 dogs so we've got a pretty full house.
She lives to nudge, purr, get belly rubbies and eat. She LOVES kids and is happy just to curl up and be loved. She is litter trained and needs to be an inside only cat. She is a special needs kitty but her treatment only requires someone to spoil her a little and she gives sooooo much love back.. Hope is an HIV positive kitty which is different for cats than for humans. She can't transmit it to humans and the only way cats transmit it to other cats is through deep bite wounds. I have a little book about feline HIV. The book was written about a cat that was diagnosed with HIV at 16 yrs old. It's not expensive. I'll give you the simple recipe for the mush she gets along with regular cat food. If you're interested, contact me at moozandsqrl2001@yahoo.com and we can arrange a time for you to meet her. WARNING: It could be love at first sight.
