I have no idea how Peter does it, but every Thursday he suddenly ends up nearly a hundred votes ahead of me. I am presently 91 votes behind.
It is so disappointing to return home and see that kind of spread when most of the week Peter has been trailing behind me. Especially after all the effort and constant voting my supporters have poured into this week's contest to keep me at the top.
However, I am so pleased to still be near the top and I believe my supporters can push me right back up there. Yes, I believe all of them are that good. I would love to see at least 50 more votes votes come in tonight to help close up the gap that Peter has once again created. Peter has the lead with 985, while I am at 894. This is the largest gap between positions this week. Thanks to all of you I held onto 1st place for 72 hours! So you scared him good.
I would love for my supporters to take the lead again by Friday and steal 1st away at the last minute on Saturday evening. I thank everyone for the continuous votesm encouragement and support. You all are just awesome no matter where I finish in this round. I figure if I can keep in the top three I will probably move on to the next round. I hope this cartoon has added a smile to your day, as you all have added a smile to my week.
There is a 2 day challenge of 500 votes or more by the closing of Saturday evening. We are looking at hitting 1,000 by the endo of the day, or early morning tomorrow. Thanks for breaking so many records this week alone!
