A Wellsville, NY, woman and four children were unhurt when their vehicle went off the Hickox-Ulysses Road last Monday at 9:36 AM and struck an embankment.
Patricia A. Havens, 42, of Wellsville, NY, was driving a 2003 Ford Windstar eastbound on Hickox-Ulysses Road in Bingham Township when the vehicle exited the roadway and struck an embankment located off the south side of the roadway. The van rotated counterclockwise and entered back onto the roadway, coming to rest in the middle of the roadway. Everyone was wearing seat belts and not injured.
Trooper Derek Weaver said the vehicle sustained minor damage to the right side and was towed from the scene by Gaines Garage. Havens was cited for (not) Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.
