Francis G. "Bud" Miller, 79, of 29 John F. Kennedy Drive, Lewis Run, passed away, Friday, March 29, 2013 in the Bradford Manor.

Born December 12, 1933, in Mt Alton, he was a son of the late Arthur G. and Annabelle (Taylor) Miller.

On July 18, 1959 in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, he married Lea M. (DelMonego) Miller who survives.

Mr. Miller attended Bradford Area Schools. He enlisted in the United States Navy on March 1, 1956 and was honorably discharged on October 23, 1957. After the service he worked for Airco Speer and later for Trico Industries from where he retired in 1995.

He was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church and served as an usher. He loved to do woodworking.

In addition to his wife, Lea, of 53 years, he is survived by a son, Joseph (Bonnie) Miller, of Bradford, one sister, Madeline Daugherty, of Goshen, NY, one brother, Glenn (Helen) Miller, of Lewis Run, one sister in law Joan Miller of Bradford, 2 step grandchildren, Jamie Siffrinn and Jeremy Battles, several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Alice Miller and two brothers Wayne Miller and William "Bill" Miller

Family will be receiving friends on Monday, April 1, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 372 East Main St., where a prayer service will be held at 9:15am on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, with Rev. Stephen Collins, pastor as Celebrant. Military Honors will be accorded at the Church immediately following the Mass. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
