An Open Letter Of Appreciation To Our Twin Tiers Community
Although I decided to receive treatment at Roswell Park, I am deeply grateful to the nurses and doctors who cared for me during my stay at Olean General Hospital, where my cancer was diagnosed. Dr. Samuel, Dr. Mancl, Dr. Lahoti and the nursing staff were particularly kind and patient, making sure I understood my condition and my treatment options. In addition to this medical care, I have been overwhelmed by the generosity and support I have received from my neighbors, friends, family and Church.
Like everyone else, I complain about the weather, the taxes, the price of gas, the length of
Time it takes to get a road plowed or a pothole filled. However, I firmly believe there is not a better, friendlier, more caring place to live than right here. Thank you to everyone who has sent a card, a flower, a prayer or a kind word my way. Your loving support has meant the world to me.
