Minor Injuries In Head On Crash On Olean Road Saturday Morning

A head on crash on the Olean Road in Otto Township on Saturday at 10:00 AM resulted in only minor injuries for the passengers in both vehicles. The drivers were not injured.

Ashley N. Fox, 25, of Olean, NY, was transported to BRMC by Bradford Ambulance for treatment of minor injuries. She was a passenger in a 2003 Ford Focus driven by Tiesha J. Hemphill, 23, of Olean, NY. Hemphill was not hurt.

Stephanie K. Seagren, 59, of Bradford, PA, suffered a minor injury but declined medical transport. She was a passenger in a 2003 Dodge Dakota driven by Thomas W. Seagren, 62, of Bradford, PA, who was not hurt.

All involved were wearing seat belts.

Trooper David Smith,  who investigated, said  the crash occurred as Fox's Ford was traveling south on SR646, slid on the snow covered roadway while negotiating a right hand curve, and went into the path of the Seagren's Dodge Dakota, which was traveling north. The vehicles hit head on and came to rest in the roadway and on the berm.

Hemphill was cited by State Police for (not) Driving Vehicle At Safe Speed.

Derrick City, Otto Township, and Knapps Creek Fire Depts. assisted at the scene.
