UPDATE: LOCAL CARTOONIST CAPTURES FIRST LATE IN THE DAY!
Supporters have beat the technical problems still occurring on The Cartoonist Studio website and pushed Lonny Frost into the lead late this afternoon!
Voters are being warned, howe...ver, once they connect to the voting page to make sure they look twice to make sure the cartoon is the one they want to vote for. Several supporters realized once they had clicked the link that the cartoon had changed to another person's page and they voted for the wrong cartoonist. This also occurs when logging in from the voting page. So be aware.
Also it is still hard to figure out where the top runners are at so here we go. First place is being held by local resident, Lonny Frost who has 161 votes. Second Place is being held by Peter Ramirez with 142 votes. Third was grabbed by Tim Green with 99 votes and closing up the top four leaders is Mark Fleck with 79 votes.
These top four runners have been the top 4 since the contest started slightly over 6 weeks ago.
Presently Lonny is holding onto to first by 19 votes! Can you keep Lonny in the lead from here out? We shall see. We have made the 150 challenge, now we are looking at encouraging supporters to reach the 300 vote challenge before the end of the day. If you have voted before 6pm, you will be able to vote again before 11:59pm tonight. That should easily push Lonny well into the lead. Lonny stated this afternoon, "Unbelievable work by all those voting. I sure hope they realize how thankful I am for their support."
