NEEDS MENTIONING
SHADES OF THE FIFTIES AND SIXTIES IN PORT ALLEGANY, PA
A couple of weeks ago, the last snow of any consequence, Lee working upstairs heard a noise at the front of the house. Lo and behold, two young men were shoveling the driveway. Lee attempted to pay them but they refused to take any money. It reminded me of a much earlier time when this was quite common. Not so today! While most of their peers were no doubt passing time with electronic games, texting, etc. they were outside doing good deeds. No surprise though, they appear to spend a good deal of their time outdoors. The two brothers were going around their neighborhood in Port Allegany shoveling driveways as a courtesy service.
As doer’s of GOOD DEEDS these young gentlemen, TRISTAN EVANS AND NICK CONWAY deserve recognition.
THANKS AGAIN BOYS,
Bucky Freeman/Lee Branch
Good Deeds...
