Brigadier General Frank Sullivan emailed: “Thank you again for the large box of goodies. Very very nice... Awesome. The troops pretty much devour everything as I put them out. The magazines get read too along with the newspapers. All is greatly appreciated here. Thanks again. You guys are awesome. I’m proud to mention I’m from an area of Pa. that cares so much and does so much for the troops. They all want to visit Tioga and Potter counties.”

Staff Sergeant Jim Imholte posted on Facebook: “Thank you for the care package. I received it yesterday. I know that I speak for all of us here in Kuwait when I say that it makes us miss home less when we receive stuff like what you sent. Again, thank you and God bless.”

Newly promoted Specialist Andy Hersman posted on Facebook: “Got a box in the mail today, the instant i saw it i knew it was from my friends at goodies for our troops. Brighten my day, and also gave me something to do for awhile! (if I ever need to move I know who to call to help me pack ;) ) I am so thankful for all the caring people that donate and help pack for goodies for the troops. Every lil' thing, is greatly appreciated by my battle buddies and myself. You all are such great people, thank you all so much for what you do and have done for myself and all others across the world!”

Master Sergeant Tim Cleveland, Director of Tioga County Veterans Affairs who thankfully returned safely home on March 14th sent message on Facebook: “thanks for the pkgs and they were a big hit with everyone.” WELCOME HOME, TIM!!! 

Chaplain (Captain) Christopher James Schafer posted on Facebook: "I have such great friends and family... thanks for sending love and supporting our troops. I wanted to share that recently I was doing visitations around our FOB and I met a young man who was wearing a 28th Infantry Patch (for those that don't know, that’s the PA National Guard of which I started my Army career.) I asked where he was from and no lie he said Wellsboro (although technically he has a Mansfield address). I asked if he was getting some good ole' God's Country snacks and he said that Goodies Forour Troops has already reached him. Blessings to all for your devotion and commitment to us. Much Love!"
