MILITARY UNIFORMS FROM THE SOCIETY’S COLLECTION, 4-1 – 6-10

A new exhibit at the Potter County Historical Society features Military Uniforms from the Civil War Era through the Vietnam Era. The collection includes 17 uniforms from the Society’s permanent collection, and 3 unique uniforms on loan from private sources. Along with WWI Cavalry and Air Corps uniforms, a WWI nurse’s uniform and a WWII WAC uniform feature a feminine side to military style. The exhibit includes over 100 accoutrements, medals, badges and photographs.

Exhibit hours are Mondays and Fridays 10:30 am to 4:00 pm. A Special Open House will take place during the Maple Festival in Coudersport on Saturday, May 4th.
