Old Route 15 reconstruction, drainage improvement work under way at Sebring

Motorists in Tioga County are advised to be alert for an around-the-clock lane restriction along Old Route 15 (Bloss Mountain Road) beneath the Route 15 overpass at Sebring, about two miles north of Liberty.

A PennDOT maintenance crew is reconstructing the southbound lane and installing drainage pipe to improve drainage at that location.

The project is between the intersections with Beutertown Road and Alexander Road, with temporary stop signs controlling traffic flow during the reconstruction of the southbound lane.

The work is expected to be completed by April 12, at which time the reconstructed southbound lane will be reopened to traffic.

Similar reconstruction of the northbound lane was completed there last year.
