Tioga County residents have been following updates about the contest as they are posted on the "Tioga Freedomist" Facebook page. While Potter County residents have started following the contest through the Facebook page of "Solomon's Words to the Wise." Because of that, a number of Potter County residents have jumped in to vote as well.
As stated by the Tioga Freedomist early this morning, "So all together across the globe, across the states and even across the counties supporters heard Lonny's request for help to reach 1,000 votes in this round!" Everyone sure did fullfill my request for breaking that 1,000 vote mark. What a fantastic job, everyone, I ended up with 1048 votes!
In fact, supporters broke the highest number of votes I received on the first, second, fifth and sixth days of this round. Now that is awesome.
I stated in an earlier interview and I feel it needs repeated, "There is no way to adaquately thank all my supporters for their time in voting for me throughout each day, week after week," stated Mr. Frost this morning." To see over 1,000 votes by 11pm was uplifting and I am so thankfull for every vote. For it is the voters who keep me moving forward."
I was 97 votes away from catching up with Peter Ramirez, who has held onto 1st place for 5 rounds straight. I hope you all can steal the show from him, in the upcoming rounds.. Everyone did a great job at cutting the down the number between 2nd and 1st place. It went from 160 down to 97, that made me very proud of everyone who made this such an interesting competition week after week.
Again because of you, I received word this afternoon that I have advanced into Round 7! So again I want to thank all those involved in accomplishing this record breaking round and by giving me a very sound second place finish.
