UPDATE: Frost takes Lead Hours After Being Reinstated.

Supporters quickly spread the news that their cartoonist was still in the cartoon contest after learning Sunday that Lonny Frost had been eliminated.

"A simple error occurred and my name was placed on the elimination list," stated Mr. Frost.

Now that things have been ironed out and an apology made, supporters have been busy placing "Wild Tails," creator, Lonny Frost to the top spot.

Lonny Frost holds first place with 198 votes. Second place goes to Peter Ramirez, who has 163 votes for his "Grey Matter" cartoon. Taking third spot is Mark Fleck's comic, "Second Chances" with 78 votes. While G.M. Smith, a new face in the top four, grabs fourth with 63 votes for his strip "Finley and Josie."

We here at Tioga Freedomist, encourage those on our Facebook page who have not yet signed up to vote in the cartoon contest, to please do so. We really want to help our local cartoonist make it through the last few rounds.

Please share with anyone you know. Lonny expresses his deepest thanks everyone for quickly coming to his rescue and placing him at the top as this round begins.
