A Port Allegany man has been charged with Indecent Exposure and Open Lewdness by State Police at Mercer.
Robert N. Haskins of Port Allegany, PA, was named in a Criminal Complaint filed in District Court 35-3-02 by Trooper Joseph B. Morris of PSP Mercer according to a news release.
Trooper Morris said the incident occurred on March 29th at 8:18 AM on Interstate 80 in the area of Mile Marker 27 Westbound in Wolfcreek Township, Mercer County. Morris said Haskins positioned his vehicle in the left passing lane next to a truck tractor while traveling westbound, then exposed his genitals while conducting a sex act upon himself in full view of the operator of the truck tractor. The operator of the truck tractor contacted PSP Mercer and followed Haskins until troopers executed a traffic stop on Haskins' vehicle in the area of Mile Marker 15 Westbound.
Charges of Indecent Exposure, Open Lewdness, and Careless Driving were filed Tuesday in District Court 35-3-02. Haskins is scheduled for a Preliminary Hearing before District Judge D. Neil McEwen on April 24 at 10:30 AM.
