Jimmy K. Thomas of Covington, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Newton Medical Center.

Born November 20, 1953 in Bradford, he was a son of Harry Thomas of Cleveland, GA, and the late Shirley (Williamson) Thomas

Mr. Thomas was a member of the Golden Fleece Masonic Lodge #6 of Covington and enjoyed NASCAR, with Dale Earnhardt, Sr. being his favorite driver. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and playing basketball.

He is survived by a son, Keith (Tara) Thomas of Malta, NY, a brother, Jerry (Wanda) Thomas of Covington, GA, an aunt, Judy Thomas of Bradford, cousins, Dawn (Michael) Evanko and their children, Thomas, Mark, Sarah, and Elizabeth, of Morganton, NC, and Karen (Kent) Amburgery and their children Kelly and Kyle of New Egypt, NJ.

He was preceded in death by his mother, one Uncle and one Aunt, Kenneth (Lois) Thomas.

Funeral Services were held, Saturday, March 30, 2013 in Covington, GA. Burial was in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
