Closeup Photography – Doing it Right

Whether wildflowers, insects, fungi or a stamp collection, close-up photography is often frustrating. During this two-hour course you will learn to use the proper tools including camera and lenses, as well as how to light the subject. Curt shows which gear to purchase regardless of your budget. Emphasis will be on nature, and a smattering of natural history will be presented, because we need to recognize the season and environment for specific plants.

Please bring your camera with memory card, fully charged battery, photo equipment and all of your questions. Students are expected to understand the controls of their cameras. This course is NOT for those without some photo knowledge.

This course is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Potter County Education Council’s Coudersport office. The cost is $35. To register, call (814) 274-4877 or register online at www.pottercountyedcouncil.org.
